Over the the academic year you will put together a portfolio of evidence for the units completed. There will also be opportunities for trips both in the UK and Abroad.

Do you have a passion for Travel, Do you love discovering new cultures and destinations and want to make a career out of it? If so this is the course for you. Entry onto this programme is subject to the following requirements;
- 4x GCSEs at grade 4-9 including English or Maths or 4x GCSEs at grade C or above including English or Maths
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths
- Acceptable references from your last education provider or current tutor (if you already a student at CSC)
- Attendance record of 80% or higher
- You may also have completed the Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism or the Level 2 Diploma in Air Cabin Crew
Successful completion can give you the option to go out to the workplace or progress onto the second year Extended Diploma which will give you UCAS points for entry to University.
By completing your course work, online assessments and practical activities such as role play, reports and presentations you will achieve either a pass, merit or distinction for each unit achieved. You will be graded an overall on your completion of the qualification.
Students will need a uniform which consists of a black suit/business wear and a tie/scarf
Students 16-18 year old’s will not have to pay tuition fees, awarding body registration or exam fees. Please note: You may be entitled to a Bursary payment to help with costs such as travel to College, trips and equipment, a food allowance and childcare. To qualify you must be resident in the UK and meet the eligibility criteria which will include evidence of your financial circumstances. Students must wear their uniform when asked to do so by their tutor. Students may be asked to represent the college at special events and open evening, once again uniform must be worn at these times.
