A career in early years and childcare is immensely rewarding, with qualified, experienced practitioners highly sought after by employers. There are great opportunities for progression too, with many of our students taking on apprenticeships or going to university.
We offer childcare and early years courses from level 1 to level 3, plus Early Years apprenticeships.
Work placements throughout your course will give you valuable experience of different childcare settings such as nurseries, schools and crèches. Our assessors will come out to your placement and observe you working with children of different ages, to see how your skills are developing.
Whilst receiving extensive teaching and theoretical learnings, these courses give you the opportunity to go and get some real-life work experience, which will prepare you for life after college.
You will also have the opportunity to spend some time out of the classroom, where you can explore other learning environments such as the beach, forest and parks.
You will benefit from small group sizes, ensuring you get the required support for your success. You will receive regular supervision, with a fully qualified and experienced tutor.
Qualified early years practitioners are in high demand. Our students progress into nursery and pre-school roles, early years teacher training, primary teaching, and degrees in early childhood and education – or step straight into work through an apprenticeship.

Yes – our Early Years Educator apprenticeship lets you earn while you train in a real setting.
