Your time at college should be memorable for all the right reasons, that's why we work with our students to make sure they have the support they need and the fantastic social and learning experience that they're looking for.
The Student Executive
The Student Executive is the student voice of the college. All students have the opportunity to be part of the Student Exec. with positions ranging from Social Secretary to Finance Officer and of course the President who is voted in by their fellow students each summer term. The Exec. is responsible for arranging social events and charity fundraisers throughout the year and have an excellent reputation for getting students involved across the college.
Our students are well known for the fantastic contribution that they make to charities: from cake sales to fun runs, hair and beauty events to sporting challenges, they have raised thousands of pounds for numerous good causes.
Throughout the year, the college organises pop-up awareness stands and events on the Crawley campus and we encourage all students to get involved. Whether it's Be Healthy Stay Safe Month, Mental Health Awareness Week, World Aids Day or Fairtrade Fortnight, there will be lots of information and free giveaways to get students inspired and engaged with the world around them.
Each September companies from across Crawley and Sussex get involved with our fantastic Freshers' events. All new and returning students are encouraged to attend, get some great discounts, bag some freebies and enter competitions to win some amazing prizes.
TOTUM, the new name for the NUS extra card, brings you over 200 UK student discounts and comes with 1-year FREE ISIC unlocking over 42,000 international discounts.
Crawley is a vibrant town which has great shops, cafes and restaurants, all just a few moments walk from the campus. There are several gyms locally, some of which offer student discount, as well as a swimming pool and racquet sports facilities at the K2 leisure centre.
