COURSE OVERVIEW
The UAL Level 3 Applied General Diploma in Art and Design is designed for 16 to 18 years old students seeking to develop their creative skills, knowledge, and understanding. This qualification provides a strong foundation for further education, including higher-level courses in art and design.
Students will have the opportunity to explore and refine their creativity within a structured yet challenging program. The skills gained throughout the course can also support progression into entry-level roles, apprenticeships, or training programs within the creative industry.
Ideal for those with a passion for the visual arts, this diploma offers a stimulating and engaging learning experience, preparing students for the next step in their creative journey.
This is a 1-year course, and if the uptake is at a high enough, we will look to add a 2nd year to the course to allow students to complete the UAL Level 3 Applied General Extended Diploma in Art and Design.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Applicants must have Maths and English GCSE at 4 or higher
Must have Art GCSE 4 or higher, or an equivalent Level 2 Art qualification
Learners will be required to produce an portfolio of their Level 2 work at interview
UAL Level 3 Applied General Extended Diploma in Art and Design
The college will endeavour to cover the cost of materials, however there maybe requirements for learners to provide some of the materials themselves.
This is a 1 year course, and if the uptake is at a high enough we will look to add a 2nd year to the course to allow students to complete the UAL Level 3 Applied General Extended Diploma in Art and Design.
