Why choose this course?
The main aim of our Spanish Beginners Stage 2 course is to help you learn the fundamentals of the Spanish language and build a solid foundation for further study. You will explore essential vocabulary and grammar topics that will enable you to communicate effectively in a range of everyday situations, particularly when travelling in Spanish-speaking countries.
Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop your confidence in using Spanish in a variety of everyday situations, including introducing yourself, ordering food and drinks, navigating tourist settings, and talking about your hobbies and interests.
- Practise your listening and speaking skills through a range of interactive activities, including dialogues, role plays, and audio-based exercises.
- Improve your reading and writing skills through comprehension activities and short written assignments.
- Gain an insight into Spanish and Latin American cultures, exploring topics such as traditional festivals, popular music, dance, and everyday customs.
By the end of the course, you will have developed the basic language skills needed to understand and communicate in simple, everyday situations, providing a strong basis for further language learning.

Further information
If enrolling for Spanish for Beginners Stage 2 you do not have to have completed Spanish for Beginners Stage 1 with us, however you will need 30 hours of previous study of the language in an adult setting, or previous learning of a similar length. Students must be aged 19+

Please bring a pen and notebook to our first session. You will also require the textbook Aula Internacional plus 1.
