New to Team Leading is a practical, interactive one-day course designed to provide delegates with a strong introduction to the fundamentals of effective team leadership. Participants will develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to lead people successfully in the workplace while gaining a clear understanding of the responsibilities and expectations of a team leader role.

This course is suitable for newly appointed team leaders, employees with the potential to progress into a team leader role, existing team leaders who would like to refresh or enhance their leadership skills and individuals looking to develop their confidence and effectiveness when leading others.

There is no formal assessment for this course. Delegates will participate in interactive learning activities designed to help them develop practical leadership skills and confidence. Delegates must attend the full day to receive a college certificate.
