Italian for Beginners Stage 1

COURSE OVERVIEW

The main aim of Italian Beginners is to help you learn the basics of the Italian language and build a strong foundation for further study. You will cover essential vocabulary and grammar topics that will enable you to communicate in everyday situations that you might encounter whilst travelling in Italy. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to:

· Develop your confidence in using Italian in a variety of everyday settings such as introducing yourself, ordering food and drink, getting by in tourist situations, and talking about your hobbies and interests.

· Practise your listening and speaking skills through a variety of interactive activities, including dialogues, role plays, and audio exercises.

· Develop your reading and writing skills through comprehension tasks and short written assignments.

· Learn about different aspects of Italian life and culture.

By the end of the course, you should feel more confident in your ability to understand and speak Italian at a basic level. We hope you enjoy the journey and wish you much success in your studies!

Italian for Beginners Stage 1 is a part-time leisure course for adults (19+) with no previous knowledge of the language who are interested in learning useful everyday phrases and basic grammar. All you’;ll need is a keen interest to learn!
