This course is suitable for those looking for revision on AM2 Assessment which includes installation practice and electrical testing. Candidates will need to have industry knowledge to join the course, or be an Apprentice studying towards their Electrical Installation Apprenticeship and must complete the NET Readiness for Assessment Checklist on application. Please note that this is a one day course and is not suitable for those who do not already have the underpinning knowledge and practical skills set out in the NET Readiness for Assessment checklist.

The course gives an overview of each assessment element, including what candidates can expect on the day, the standards they are required to meet, and the marking criteria used throughout the assessment.
The refresher is intended to help candidates familiarise themselves with the AM2 structure, refresh their knowledge of current industry regulations and best practices, and gain a better understanding of how to prepare effectively for the assessments. It also highlights common mistakes and areas where candidates typically lose marks, helping them approach the AM2 with greater confidence and a clearer understanding of what is expected.
Please note that this is a classroom-based theory session only. Candidates will not have access to the assessment centre, assessment bays, or AM2 rigs during the refresher course. The course is designed solely to provide information and guidance to support preparation for the assessments.
