Crawley students bring Easter joy with 'eggs-cellent' donation
Students and staff at Crawley College collected more than 70 Easter eggs for their local community.
The chocolate eggs were donated to community group ‘Spotted: Crawley’, to be delivered to local families in need over the Easter period.
Lisa Humphries, Director of Student Services and Pastoral Support at the Chichester College Group, said: “Our student executive team were determined to do something special this Easter – and they have been collecting eggs for local organisations.
“Our colleges, including Crawley College, are a key part of our local communities and it’s important to us that we give something back to them.
“It has been a difficult year, so it is great to be able to spread a little bit of happiness where we can.”
Dan, who runs the ‘Spotted: Crawley’ community group, added: “It was humbling to receive support from the students.
“It’s great to know that the next generation are community focused and gives me hope for the future of Crawley.”
