Travel and tourism students from Crawley College were given an insight to a sky-high career.
A crew from easyJet visited the college for the first time as they delivered a presentation about careers with the airline.
The students were presented with the many career opportunities that easyJet has to offer on Wednesday 1 May.
The presentation certainly was a success when it came to feedback from students who really appreciated the opportunity.
Marina said: "The easyJet team were really friendly and I have learnt so much about what they do, how they recruit and what they expect. The presentation easyJet delivered was very informative and made me think about what I want to do in the future.”
Sam added: “I found this experience useful, I found out how to apply and that I will have to complete a personality test, which sounds interesting!
"I also learnt some facts about the company and I’ll be doing some further research on easyJet as part of my future career route.”
Judy & Yani agreed, and said they would like to hear more from other companies. They said: “We really enjoyed having easyJet come and visit, we’ve had lots of information on piloting and cabin crew.
"It would be great to have other companies such as British Airways, Emirates and Virgin come in so that we can compare.”
And it wasn't only students who were left impressed by the visit.
Dale, cabin manager at EasyJet, said: “This is our first time visiting Crawley College, although we have been visiting lots of schools and colleges around this area during this year.
"There are so many job opportunities at Gatwick, which is basically right at the students doorstep and we wanted to introduce the students to the different opportunities which are available in this industry such as cabin crew and customer service.
“If someone from a company such as easyJet came to visit me when I was at college, then it would have such a massive impact on my decision, this is what we hope to provide for students at Crawley College.”
