What work do we do with our employers?

Crawley College has increased its work with employers significantly this year.  It offers a bespoke training programme to businesses on the Manor Royal Business Park. 1,000 local companies work with the College, the most significant proportion in Construction, Engineering, Retail, Business Services, Manufacturing, Public Sector and Professional Services.  As a result of employer pressure, the hospitality courses at Crawley have been significantly boosted by the launch of 58 Restaurant training students for the hospitality and leisure industry.  The restaurant is supported by the Gatwick Hotels Association.

Our training courses

Many people from local businesses accessed our training courses in 2019/20. Of these, a number are continuing their professional training through our Business and Management department. In addition, we deliver bespoke courses to local businesses on their premises.

The College is also represented on the Boards of the Gatwick Diamond Business, Manor Royal Business Improvement District, Crawley Town Centre Partnership, the Crawley Professional Services Forum and LEAG. It is also a member of the Crawley Town taskforce following the challenges which Covid-19 has created.

Our Apprentices

There has been a significant increase in numbers of apprentices over the last 3 years.

What work do we do with employers?

It is vital that we provide a high quality service to all our employers which enables them to add value to their businesses.

We only have the results of the Government’s employer satisfaction survey 2019 for the whole Chichester College Group. They did not run a survey in 2020.

  • 83% would recommend Chichester College Group as their training provider

This is a significant improvement from the previous year.
