Train the Trainer

Knowledge transfer is a recognisable skill that benefits from using appropriate and relevant techniques, and trainers and managers who train as part of their remit need a range of skills to be effective.

Delegates will explore the purpose of training and coaching and mentoring and the tools and techniques for creating a successful learning experience for others. A few of the concepts learnt below are:

  • Preparing appropriate training resources and materials to aid the learning process
  • Providing training at the time and speed appropriate to individual needs
  • Giving individuals constructive feedback on their progress and organise further training

This course is ideal for those who are new to training, or those currently delivering training who have not had formal instruction.

Must be employed in management or team leader post and train staff on a regular basis.
