COURSE OVERVIEW

Knowledge transfer is a recognisable skill that benefits from using appropriate and relevant techniques. Trainers and managers who train as part of their remit need a range of skills to be effective. This course will help you explore the purpose of training, coaching, and mentoring, and equip you with the tools and techniques for creating a successful learning experience for others.
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
  • Identify, prepare, and use appropriate learning environments.
  • Plan training to meet required objectives.
  • Prepare appropriate training resources and materials to aid the learning process.
  • Plan training to meet required objectives.
  • Demonstrate activities/tasks by giving clear, accurate and complete descriptions of the methods used, and of related knowledge.
  • Provide training at the time and speed appropriate to individual needs.
  • Give individuals constructive feedback on their progress and organise further training.

FURTHER INFORMATION

This course is ideal for those who are new to training or those currently delivering training who have not had formal instruction. Participants must be employed in management or team leader positions and train staff on a regular basis.
