Skills Bootcamp in Construction – Bricklaying
COURSE OVERVIEW
Ideal for those seeking to advance their careers through up-skilling or re-skilling, our Bricklaying Skills Bootcamp at Crawley College will include the following: · Emergency First Aid at work
· Bricklaying Skills to follow L2 Apprenticeship standard.
· NOCN level 1 Award Health and Safety in Construction
· CSCS card
· Self-Employment in Construction (optional)
In our industry standard workshops, you will learn from expert tutors who have considerable experience of working in the Constructions sector You will also have opportunities to learn from a range of employers and this could include site visits (subject to availability).
FURTHER INFORMATION
Adults 19+ who live or work in West Sussex and are interested in pursuing a new career or advancing their skills in the Construction sector.
At the end of the Skills Bootcamp you will be offered an interview for a role which matches the skills you have acquired during the Skills Bootcamp. This course should also help you secure a new role or added responsibilities in an existing role.
Practical observations and online Health and Safety exam.
Steel toe-cap safety boots; appropriate clothing.
Skills Bootcamps are Government funded training programmes available to eligible adults (19+). If you are applying as an individual there is no fee. If your employer is sponsoring you they will be required to make a contribution. See Skills Bootcamps page on our website for further details.
