NOCN L3 Technical Diploma Occupational Entry for Craft Carpenters and Joiners (Site Carpentry)
COURSE OVERVIEW
This Level 3 qualification provides learners with a range of knowledge and skills. Learners will develop an understanding of health and safety for working in the construction industry
and knowledge, skills and behaviours of a craft carpenter and joiner as stated in the IfATE Occupational Standard
FURTHER INFORMATION
This Level 3 qualification is for learners aged 19 and above who want to continue their education and develop their knowledge, competencies and understanding of their role in Craft
Carpentry and Joinery.
Learners do not need any prior qualifications to undertake this level 3 qualification, however NOCN do offer a level 2 in Site Carpentry and Architectural Joinery which will give learners the knowledge and skills required to work towards this qualification.
The purpose of this qualification is to equip learners with the knowledge and understanding to progress on to a higher level supervisory or management qualifications e.g., Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision or progress into employment in their chosen trade.
There are a variety of assessment methods used in this qualification.
