Level 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Level 2 Culinary Skills qualifications will suit you if you have some basic skills and experience as a chef, probably from a role where you work under supervision. You want to gain a formal qualification and increase your skills so that you can take on a more senior role.

GCSE English and Maths at grade 3-9 and a keen interest in the Hospitality industry.
Following completion of the course including work experience and a grade 4 in math’s and English progression onto Level 3. Alternatively you may progress into working in a restaurant as a Chef or other establishments such as Hotels, Pubs or Cafe’s.
For these qualifications you will complete practical demonstrations/synoptic exams, assignments and take a multiple choice examination.
You will be expected to purchase uniform and equipment relating to the course. Trips will also be arranged at an extra expense.
