Skills for the Future: Crawley College Celebrates T Levels Week

19 October 2026

As part of T Levels Week, Crawley College is highlighting the opportunities available through T Levels and celebrating the achievements of students studying the qualifications across the college.

With T Levels set to become the single largest technical qualification at Level 3, this year’s national T Levels Week, 19-23 October, marks yet another fantastic opportunity to show just why they offer such a fantastic opportunity for young people.

Since becoming one of the first providers in the country to deliver T Levels in September 2020, the Chichester College Group has continually expanded its offer and now offers a range of courses at the college, from Education and Early Years to Design, Surveying & Planning.

Why pick a T Level?

T Levels are a two-year technical qualification, designed in collaboration with employers to give you the skills needed by industry. This is achieved by combining classroom study, practical learning and a three-month placement.

Whether you already have a career in mind or are still exploring your options, a T Level can help open doors to your future. It offers a clear pathway to university, an apprenticeship or employment, giving you plenty of opportunities after college.

Reflecting on the growing impact of T Levels, Jacqui Smith, Minister for Skills, said:

“This government is determined to give technical and vocational education the same status and recognition as the academic route. T Levels are showing what is possible when high-quality education is combined with meaningful industry experience, enabling more young people to gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed to thrive.”

Why pick Crawley College?

There are plenty of reasons to pick a T Level at Crawley College, from developing high-level technical expertise on the Digital Production, Design and Development T Level, to gaining real-world experience on the Education and Early Years T Level. Students benefit from personalised teaching, industry placements and courses designed in collaboration with employers, helping them build the knowledge and skills needed for their future careers.

Students have access to a campus right in the heart of Crawley, with modern facilities such as the £15 million recently completed Sussex & Surrey Institute of Technology building. During their studies, students also benefit from strong employer partnerships and a supportive learning environment that combines practical training with academic study.

As T Levels Week continues, please stay tuned to the college’s Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram for more celebrations. To find out all about the wide range of T Levels available at Crawley College, please click here.
