Progression routes include Level 3 Bench Joinery, Furniture Manufacture or Site Carpentry, as well as employment in joinery workshops. The qualification prepares learners for roles requiring technical skill, attention to detail and professional workshop standards.
Assessment includes online exams, written tasks, theory units and a final synoptic practical assignment. Learners build a portfolio demonstrating competence across machinery use, joint accuracy and safe workshop practice aligned to joinery-industry expectations.
