This course is suitable for those looking for revision on AM2S Assessment which includes installation practice and electrical testing. Candidates will need to have industry knowledge to join the course, or be an Apprentice studying towards their Electrical Installation Apprenticeship and must complete the NET Readiness for Assessment Checklist on application. Please note that this is a one day course and is not suitable for those who do not already have the underpinning knowledge and practical skills set out in the NET Readiness for Assessment checklist.

The AM2S Refresher is intended for electrotechnical apprentices undertaking the Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship Standard who are preparing to undertake either the AM2S or AM2S v1.1 assessment. The course provides a theory-based overview of the assessment process, helping apprentices understand the assessment requirements, structure, expectations, and marking criteria to ensure they are fully prepared ahead of their End-Point Assessment.
The course is optional; however, it can be beneficial for candidates wishing to refresh their knowledge, gain a clearer understanding of the assessment format, and build confidence before completing their AM2S or AM2S v1.1 assessment.
