On successful completion of this qualification delegates will know and be able to apply the knowledge relating to the supervisor’s role at all stages of food production. They will understand the role of the supervisor in food preparation and be able to provide examples of effective supervisory management relating to food production.

 

WHO CAN JOIN?

This qualification is suitable for supervisors, team leaders and line managers working in the catering industry including those working in the care sector. The qualification is also suitable for those who own/manage a small catering business. 

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, it is strongly advised that delegates already hold the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering, or equivalent and that delegates have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy or numeracy.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED

You will be assessed via a Multiple-Choice Assessment.  Delegates must answer a series of multiple-choice questions within a 2-hour time frame. Delegates must achieve a score of at least 40 out of 60 in order to pass.
