Entry Requirements: Senior HR professionals, managers, advisors and business partners who work in a human resources or general management area.

Individual offers may vary. This course is at Masters Level (Level 7) so a degree and/or relevant study and/or substantial relevant experience is normally required.

First degree, CIPD Certificate in Personnel/Human Resource Practice (CHRP/CPP), the CIPD Certificate in L&D/ Training Practice (CL&DP/CTP), Level 3 equivalent qualifications, or the Level 5 qualification,  or appropriate prior learning and experience. Candidates are expected to be working in the HRM field. Exceptionally, candidates without such work experience, but looking to enter the HR profession, could be accepted provided they have a first degree and relevant workplace access.


You will assessed through national exams, reports, essays and observation of practical skills.

Membership of the CIPD

In order to join the course, applicants must become student members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.  As part of the induction to the course the respective course tutor will complete the necessary process for entry to the institute.  Student membership provides a range of benefits including access to the institutes substantial website, People Management Magazine and access to local branch events including the employment law updates.
