No student or visitor parking at Crawley College

30 May 2024

From this week (Tuesday 28 May) there will be no student parking at Crawley College, with the exception of students who hold ‘Blue Badges’.

Parking onsite at the college until 5pm will be staff only, due to a significant reduction in parking spaces to accommodate the construction of the new Institute of Technology facility.

From 5pm, parking will be available to students (subject to availability).

Parking for the remainder of the academic year and summer break will be free of charge, but you must be registered for an e-permit to park onsite – you may be liable to a parking fine if you park at Crawley College without this.

A permit to park at the college does not guarantee a space, as spaces are limited and will operate on a first come, first served basis.

If you are planning to drive to college for your GCSE exams in June, please ensure you have made alternative parking or travel arrangements as you won’t be able to park at the college.

Exams will be taking place on the following dates:

· Monday 3 June (Maths GCSE)
· Thursday 6 June (English GCSE)
· Monday 10 June (Maths GCSE)

If you are due to sit exams on these dates, you will not be able to park onsite for these exams and will need to make alternative arrangements. Please do make sure you have considered your options and planned your travel in advance. There are a number of car parks in Crawley – the closest alternative option is the multi-storey car park is opposite the college which does offer parking at £2.50 per day (at time of writing).
