Graduation worth the wait for Crawley students
Crawley College’s degree-level students celebrated their graduation in style recently.
The students, who completed their foundation degree in Early Childhood and BA (Hons) Early Years (Top Up) degrees at the college, were thrilled to be able to attend their graduation held at the University of Chichester in August.
They were also able to invite family and friends to the ceremony, which took place in a marquee on the lawns at the university.
Many of the students completed their studies in three years, juggling work and family life alongside undertaking their research and meeting tough assignment deadlines. One student even welcomed a baby daughter during her study years.
Nicola Demetriadi, who teaches the course at Crawley College, said: “It’s an amazing achievement and we’re so proud of all of our students – especially those who have completed their degree during these pandemic years.
“They are a true credit to the early years sector.”
Crawley College has been teaching the foundation degree and BA (Hons) top up courses for many years, supporting local early years professionals as they extend their professional qualifications.
