College saddened by loss of caring and compassionate student

The Crawley College family are deeply saddened by the loss of Katie Horne. Our thoughts are with Katie’s family and friends at this very difficult time.

Katie joined the college in 2016, studying Level 3 Childcare. Following a gap year, she returned to study a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies.

Caring and compassionate, Katie was a dedicated student continuing her studies to ensure her professional practice made a difference for the children she worked with.

She will be greatly missed by her friends and lecturers at the college.
