A stunning display of work from Visual Arts students went on public display as Central Sussex College’s Sixth Form Haywards Heath hosted its annual end of term exhibition.
The week-long exhibition showcased a variety of artworks from across the visual spectrum, with visitors from the local area able to view gallery-worthy pieces from over 150 students. The works, produced as part of the students’ A Level assessments, covered a range of mediums including; craft and design, photography, graphics and fine art.
The exhibition was the perfect opportunity for students to proudly share their work with friends and family, and celebrate the end of their courses with fellow Visual Arts students, as well as the staff that have supported them throughout their studies.
Programme Area Manager for Performing Arts and Visual Arts at the College, Paula Watkins, commented, “The sheer creativity and ownership of the work was beautifully exhibited with each individual artist given a platform to display their talents. The work was of an exceptionally high quality and reached beyond being a part of an A level qualification to realise an exhibition of a professional standard.”
