Travel Students raise £108 for local charity

05 July 2016

A group of Travel and Tourism students from Central Sussex College raised £108 for St. Catherine's Hospice.

The students raised the fantastic amount by taking it in turns to bring cakes into class every Monday and making monetary donations each week towards the cake effort.

Emily Bradbury, Community Fundraiser for St. Catherine's Hospice, visited the College to thank the students during a recent cheque presentation.

Emily said of the students' fundraising, "To raise over £100 between the five of you by selling cakes to each other, is an incredible achievement. The money will go a long way in supporting the hospice and the work that we do. Thank you so much!"
