Chichester College Group tops results table for Sussex

11 April 2019

The Chichester College Group is number one for student achievement and apprenticeships in Sussex.

The National Achievement Rates Tables (NART) for 2017/18 revealed that the combined achievement rate for classroom-based learning across the group’s family of colleges (Chichester College, Crawley College and Brinsbury College) is 86.1%.

It’s a similar story for apprenticeships, with the Chichester College Group again coming out on top – with an achievement rate of 78.9%, higher than other college apprenticeship providers in Sussex.

Andrew Green, Executive Principal for the Chichester College Group, said: “I would like to congratulate all of our fantastic students and apprentices, who have worked so hard to achieve some really impressive results across each of our campuses at Chichester, Crawley and Brinsbury.

“This announcement is the icing on the cake in a week of fantastic celebration for the Group, following our latest merger [with Worthing College] and a truly amazing Ofsted monitoring report for Crawley College which saw significant progress being achieved across the board – an accomplishment that is rarely seen.

“To be ‘the best in Sussex’ reflects the commitment and passion of all of our staff across the group, who go above and beyond every day and are so crucial to our students’ success.

“Our mission is to change lives through learning, and I truly believe we are seeing the difference we are making to our students every day.”
