COURSE OVERVIEW

This course introduces delegates to the fundamentals of managing talent and provides practical tools on how to design, implement and maintain a talent management strategy and process.

Talent management is the strategic process of identifying, managing, developing and engaging employees to meet organisational current and future business needs.

This includes the below topics:

  • The benefits of managing talent, the talent management process, meeting business needs
  • Tools for defining, identifying, evaluating and mapping talent
  • Mapping your own people, organisational consistency, the underlying influences on effective talent management
  • Developing talent, implementation, understanding the impact of organisational culture, personal action planning

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Define the purpose of a talent management strategy for their organisation
  • Understand the steps in a talent management strategy and process
  • Use a framework for identifying talent
  • Understand how to nurture and develop talent
  • Understand how organisational culture impacts on the successful implementation of a talent management strategy
  • Identify the steps necessary for implementation

HOW THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORKS

Complete each step of the application form and then submit your completed form. We’ll let you know when we’ve safely received it with an acknowledgement email.

Step 3

Application Review Meeting

Before offering you a place at college, we’ll meet with you (either in person, by telephone or online). We’ll send you a link to our booking page where you can select a time that’s convenient for you.

Step 4

Accept Your Place

Offers will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. The offer will be conditional, based on predicted GCSE grades. You’ll need to accept your offer within 14 days to secure your place.

Step 5

What next?

Once you receive your GCSE results, you’ll need to get in touch with the college to inform us of them and start your enrolment process.
