Stage 2 Introduction to Coding – C#
COURSE OVERVIEW
C# is the most popular language developed by Microsoft and this course is designed to support students to learn this language. Thousands of companies use Microsoft technologies in their infrastructure that rely on C# and it is a popular language for creating web services. The aim of this course is to introduce the programming language C# on an industry standard IDE. Don’;t worry, we will explain what IDE stands for! This is an interactive course that allows you to practice each element working towards creating high-performance apps in C#.
To complete the interactive elements of the course, you’ll need a desktop or laptop computer with an internet connection. We would recommend new programmers start with the Introduction to Python before progressing to this language.

This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn computer programming. We would recommend new programmers start with the Introduction to Python before progressing to this language. There two opportunities to join the course as it runs on a Wednesday at 4:00pm and 6:30pm.
After completing the course students may wish to consider developing their SQL database knowledge or join a full time IT course to develop their skills further.
The course is assessed through online activities that you will receive feedback from your teacher. You are supported to work at your own pace.
As part of the launch of the Centre for Digital Excellence you will not have to pay tuition fees, awarding body registration or exam fees.
