Stage 2 Introduction to Coding – C#


C# is the most popular language developed by Microsoft and this course is designed to support students to learn this language. Thousands of companies use Microsoft technologies in their infrastructure that rely on C# and it is a popular language for creating web services. The aim of this course is to introduce the programming language C# on an industry standard IDE. Don’;t worry, we will explain what IDE stands for! This is an interactive course that allows you to practice each element working towards creating high-performance apps in C#.

To complete the interactive elements of the course, you’ll need a desktop or laptop computer with an internet connection. We would recommend new programmers start with the Introduction to Python before progressing to this language.

designed for anyone who wants to learn computer programming. We would recommend new programmers start with the Introduction to Python before progressing to this language. There two opportunities to join the course as it runs on a Wednesday at 4:00pm and 6:30pm.


Step 1

Set Up Your Account

You’ll be prompted to create an account which will allow you to log in to our Application Tracker website whenever you wish. This will provide you with important information and you can also track the progress of your application.

Complete each step of the application form and then submit your completed form. We’ll let you know when we’ve safely received it with an acknowledgement email.

Step 3

Application Review Meeting

Before offering you a place at college, we’ll meet with you (either in person, by telephone or online). We’ll send you a link to our booking page where you can select a time that’s convenient for you.

Step 4

Accept Your Place

Offers will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. The offer will be conditional, based on predicted GCSE grades. You’ll need to accept your offer within 14 days to secure your place.

Step 5

What next?

Once you receive your GCSE results, you’ll need to get in touch with the college to inform us of them and start your enrolment process.
