FURTHER INFORMATION
You will need an interest in developing your skills for work and to aspire to progress onto either Vocation+ or a Level 1 course, you should be working at Entry Level 2 or above
The outcome of your programme is that it will enable you to make an informed choice about your future and progress onto a higher level of academic/vocational study and/or employment. This will be reviewed throughout your time at college and discussed at your progress and transition reviews in terms of individual pathway.
From initial assessments and from working with you, we will identify your individual strengths and areas for improvement. You will then receive an individualised curriculum that is design for you. Progress will be monitored using the RARPA process where personal targets will be set and regularly reviewed with you, the tutor, parents, carers and other professionals. You will also have the opportunity to run an Enterprise project, where you can practice your newly learnt skills in a safe and nurturing environment. We will also ask that you participate in a work experience placement during your programme.
