Our range of leisure and hobby courses keeps growing, with even more fun and exciting courses starting throughout 2024.
COURSE OVERVIEW
You will continue to build your skills through both theory and practical tasks, becoming increasingly confident in your abilities. You will focus more on the practical elements of vehicle fitting whilst bringing up your English and Maths levels in preparation for the Level 2 Diploma. This course is designed as a progression pathway from Level 1 Diploma to Level 2 Diploma. Built within this course is also a Level 1 Certificate in Welding Skills so you can learn various welding and sheet metal processes whilst also working on your main qualification. Every learner at Crawley College who is under 19 will undertake a personal Study Programme designed to develop them academically, practically and personally. Study Programmes contain 3 essential elements:
- Subject Course – Vocational or chosen Academic subject, usually studied for 12 – 16 hours a week.
- English and Maths – Every learner will work towards GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths.
- ACES – Our own pastoral and tutorial programme that includes 1-1 support.
You will have specific time in your timetable for each of the three elements above and you will be expected to attend all elements throughout the year. Study programmes are designed to help you meet your maximum potential and progress to the next level of study or into work.
