COURSE OVERVIEW
This interactive half-day course gives delegates the opportunity to learn how to take notes at a meeting and produce professional minutes. The course emphasises the relevant items to include and how to keep the minutes impartial.
In addition to the theory element, the course includes an element of role play in order to practice the skills being taught.
Some of the topics include:
- Pre-meeting activities
- How to record accurate notes
- The importance of action points
- Different minute styles for different meetings

Administrators and other business professionals who need to make an official record of the proceedings of a meeting.
No other formal entry requirements.
We also offer training in all Microsoft Office packages, the main Adobe programs and in other areas of Management & Business.
Additionally we can offer bespoke training in the most professional ways to collate minutes.
Additionally we can offer bespoke training in Effective Minute Taking which can be delivered in-house at your premises or in college.
There is no assessment during the course, however once you have completed the day’s session you will receive a college attendance certificate.
Course cost – £125.00
As part of the cost all materials and equipment are provided on the course.

Delegates attending courses on campus will have access to our onsite catering facilities.
