Effective Leadership Styles
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will give delegates an understanding of leadership styles, the impact different styles have on those who are ‘led’ and how to choose the most appropriate approach for a given situation.
The course will cover the following topics:
- Identify the difference between leadership and management
- Understand their own leadership style and its impact on others
- Identify the factors that need to be taken into consideration when choosing a leadership approach to a situation
- Identify an appropriate style of leadership to achieved desired goals
- Identify the personal qualities that give them leadership authority
FURTHER INFORMATION
Suitable for managers, supervisors and team leaders wishing to review the way they lead their team and organisation, and how they can adapt their style.
Delegates must be employed in management, a team leader post or be in a position of power.
We also offer training in all Microsoft Office packages, the main Adobe programs and in other areas of Management & Business.
Additionally we can offer bespoke training in coaching, team leading and mentoring which can be delivered in-house at your premises or in college.
There is no assessment during the course, however once you have completed the day’s session you will receive a college attendance certificate.
Course cost – £250.00
As part of the cost all materials and equipment are provided on the course.
