COURSE OVERVIEW
The role of a manager is to achieve results through the efforts of other people. The responsibility of managing resources (people, equipment, budgets etc.) lies with the manager or team leader. Improving performance and thus productivity requires a set of skills.
One of the ways to achieve this is by coaching. Learning proven and effective models of the coaching process allows the manager to follow a structured approach to developing their staff.
Topics covered are:
- Develop a coaching strategy
- Identify behaviour that can be improved
- Use goal setting
- Give meaningful feedback
FURTHER INFORMATION
Managers, Team Leaders, and Supervisors wanting to improve team performance using a coaching approach.
Delegates must be employed in management, a team leader post or be in a position of power.
We also offer training in all Microsoft Office packages, the main Adobe programs and in other areas of Management & Business.
Additionally we can offer bespoke training in coaching, team leading and mentoring which can be delivered in-house at your premises or in college.
There is no assessment during the course, however once you have completed the day’s session you will receive a college attendance certificate.
Course cost – £250.00
As part of the cost all materials and equipment are provided on the course.

Delegates attending courses on campus will have access to our onsite catering facilities.
