COURSE OVERVIEW
FURTHER INFORMATION
Suitable for Barbers who have completed Level 2 in Barbering and have at least 1 years experience in a busy barbershop. Must be proficient at cutting all types of men’s hair and styles and different techniques. To take this course an understanding both written and verbal of the English language is required
Career opportunities as a senior barber/men’s hairdresser may include working in the following settings:
- Commercial barbershops/salons
- Specialist African type hair barbershops/salons
- Independent/self-employed/mobile/home-based settings
- Product manufacturing and training
- Television, film, theatre, and media
- Armed services
This part-time course is taught at college in our professional hair salons, for one day/evening a week for 16 weeks.
Your teachers have a wealth of professional and teaching experience and excellent links with local employers and industry experts.
You will have opportunities to work with real clients to perfect your skills and you may have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical ability.
Your work will be assessed throughout the course through practical assessments and assignments.
The learner will be expected to purchase a kit and uniform.
Text book is also required.
Compulsory Fee £150 this fee goes towards consumables used on your course (2024/25)

You will need to wear all black with plain shoes or smart black trainers. The barbering kit costs approximately £420 which includes the latest Clipper, Trimmers & Foils
